Dutch Leather and Shoe Museum/Nederlands Leder en Schoenen Museum
The Nederlands Leder en Schoenen Museum or Dutch Leather and Shoe Museum was founded in 1954. It's located in Waalwijk, the so called capital of the Dutch leather and shoe industry, which almost completely dissapeared during the 1970's. At the moment the museum collection represents over 11.000 shoes, a tannery, shoe factory and other related objects.
